Starting in the 1880s and continuing on through the early 1900s, buttons were considered very vogue. This was a very opulent era which can be seen in the incredible workmanship and considerable detail that went into the crafting of these fashion-forward buttons.

This stunning button is cast in brass with exquisite detail depicting a galloping horse and jockey on an opulent shell back . Excellent condition, this lovely button has become a fabulous on-trend pendant that can be worn as a necklace or triple-wrapped around the wrist for a very artisan and on-trend bracelet.

18 inch leather cord with toggle clasp and brass hardware, button measures ¾ inches wide/long.
