Description

My guess is this classic jacket was once a part of a riding habit, either side-saddle with a lovely skirt or paired with a flare-leg Jodhpur for a sporting look! It is perfectly relevant as a solo piece, so distinguished with your favorite breeches and boots.

100% wool in a gray slate color, bright red cotton blend lining, cropped cut, fabric is of high quality and thick, wide notched collar with button hole details, side flap on-seam front pockets, elastic ruching in back, nicely tailored with shoulder and side seams. Front right pocket has a Consumer Protection Label stating the garment was manufactured under the Fair Labor Standards, National Recovery Board. This jacket is in excellent condition and very wearable as a modern trend. The only damage we could find is a small hole in the bottom left pocket. Custom made in the 1930s, marked size 20 (40) and made in the USA.

The following measurements were taken with the garment lying FLAT and recorded in inches, please be sure and DOUBLE the appropriate measurements: Shoulders: 16.5, chest: 21, waist: 18, length: 24, sleeve: 24. Size: 40
