Description

The Bolo tie has been a staple of the country gentlemen for decades, with the origins dating back to  Victor Cedarstaff who in 1940 claims to have invented the bolo tie by a chance, and named it after the word Boleadora, which is an Argentine Lariat. Extremely popular in the 1980s with the rockabilly surge, there are now 3 states that list the Bolo tie as their official neckwear.

This bolo tie represents a wonderful equestrian heritage of the west! Braided chocolate leather with silver-tone tips, silver-tone Western saddle with faux turquoise detail. Saddle has ornate designs with a horse head on the flap, great condition.

Circa 1980s, measures 18 Inches long with the saddle measuring 2 x 2 ¾ inches.
